A Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales for 15 years prior to moving offshore, Mathew is also a BVI attorney who previously ran the private international law department of a leading Caribbean international law firm. Prior to joining Astus in 2012, Mathew was the group managing director of a global corporate service/ fiduciary organization and has specialized in asset protection and cross border private and corporate tax.

Director

Born in the UK and raised in Hong Kong, William is a founding partner and Director of the Astus Services Group. He has experience in the Offshore Incorporations, HR Outsourcing and Recruitment industries and has lived and worked in Hong Kong and the British Virgin Islands. William is responsible for driving the corporate profile and presence of the group.

Alex Ball
Director, New Zealand

Chartered Accountant with over 23 years’ experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial governance, accounting advisory, risk management and regulatory advisory work during his time at Ernst & Young (London, Sydney, Singapore and Auckland) and recently as CFO of a listed power utility and one of New Zealand’s largest telecommunications companies.  At Ernst & Young New Zealand he was the lead partner for the financial services practice.  He also provided transaction support for many   M&A deals in Australia and New Zealand in the financial services, property development and construction sectors.  He is an experienced company director and chaired two companies operating in the energy infrastructure sector for a number of years and is currently an advisory board member to a NZ software development company.

Jud moved to Mainland China from New York City in 2007 to launch an international company designed to provide strategic planning, marketing and operational solutions to western companies seeking to launch and grow their businesses in China.
